Planning Board approves addition

MARLBORO - The Planning Board on Sept. 19 granted approval to an application proposing an addition to a warehouse/ office on Amboy Road.

The applicant, Lucas Construction, was represented by attorney Salvatore Alfieri. The plan calls for an addition of 8,750 square feet to an existing building and a separate office space of 759 square feet.

Approval was awarded after the applicant indicated he was willing to comply with recommendations made by the board's engineer, Jeffrey Staiger, and planner, Jennifer Beahm.

The applicant indicated he was also willing to curb the property if other nearby sites had that requirement.

Construction will begin this winter and continue until the work is finished. Alfieri assured the board that the property would not be left in a half-state of construction.
