Volunteers in Public Service, Monmouth County Division of Social Services, Freehold, is seeking Scouts, schools and businesses for its Project EAT (Everyone Ate Today) effort. Project Eat is a food collection program where groups collect food three or more times annually to help local food pantries.

Volunteers in Public Service will provide presentations to introduce the project; give individuals consultation to help groups get started; and provide linkage to the local food pantry, a periodic newsletter, a "how to" guide for schools, a curriculum dealing with the problem of hunger for uses in classes K-12, a video that shows how Project EAT works, and award certificates to display in classrooms and other sites.

For more information, call Mary Ellen Hemenway at (732) 845-2073.
