Let Jersey Freeze owner sell and enjoy his future
Iread the article on the Jersey Freeze end. I live two blocks from this place now for 17 years. It seems to me that people do not like some things to end. This man, Bruce Blackmore, it sounds like he wants to sell a business he owns and retire. Why not? Is he not allowed to because no one wants him to?

I understand they like going there and grew up eating ice cream there, but memories should be in the heart and mind, not in a material structure. They should remember the times they were able to go to a place and enjoy eating ice cream or food.

Do not complain about it going and not letting this man sell and go and retire to just enjoy his life without it making him feel bad about wanting to do this.

About the bugs and rodents, one man said Jersey Freeze not only served ice cream, but the back part of the building had a restaurant also. Are there bugs and rodents now?

There's more traffic coming from Freehold Raceway than from Chili's or Barnes & Noble. I have people flying down my street going to the track for years now. I don't think an Olive Garden will be a problem with traffic. Most of it will be coming and going from Route 9.

Let Mr. Blackmore do what he feels is right for him, and let him do it happily. At least it will be a nice establishment and not a sports bar or some other sort like that. I am happy for Mr. Blackmore that he is making this decision for himself. To you, Mr. Blackmore, enjoy retirement!
