Medical building awaiting vote
BY ELANA ARON Correspondent

FREEHOLD TOWNSHIP - Medical Freehold LLC has concluded the presentation of its application before the Zoning Board of Adjustment. Because only six members were present at the Aug. 30 meeting, the board members chose to reserve their vote until Sept. 27.

The application to construct a onestory office building next to an existing medical office building at 303 W. Main St. was initially heard before the board one month ago.

Due to differing opinions and calculations of floor area ratio, the proposed building is now proposed to be 7,992 square feet, down from the original pro- posal of 8,800 square feet.

The existing structure is 58,143 square feet.

A use variance is required for the new building because the proposed structure will exceed the floor area ratio allowed in that zone.

Steven Schultz, a partner in property owner Onyx Equities, said the new building can accommodate up to three tenants.

Attorney Jennifer Krimko, representing the applicant, called upon various experts to present final testimony for the application.

Krimko told the board that the applicant has met with the township's Historic Preservation Commission to ensure that the proposed structure would be architecturally suitable to the surrounding area.
