Colts Neck resident helps Ride4Autism raise funds

Vincent Scanelli of Colts Neck, an exclusive agent with Allstate New Jersey, has helped raise thousands of dollars to fight autism. As part of his work with Ride4Autism, he assisted in the raising of $73,000 through a recent Ride4Autismsponsored golf outing. The funds raised will go to support the efforts of the New Jersey Center for Outreach and Services for the Autism Community (COSAC).

For several years, now, Scanelli, who has a son with autism, has regularly volunteered with COSAC, a nonprofit agency.

Allstate New Jersey recently sponsored "A Night at the Races" at the Wall Township Speedway, where Scanelli served as host of the festive event on behalf of the company.

In addition, earlier this year, Vince helped to organize the annual Ride-4- Autism fundraiser. The event draws awareness to the illness while raising funds to help treat those with autism.

The COSAC organization encourages responsible basic and applied research that may lessen the effects of, and potentially prevent, autism.

Moreover, the group is dedicated to ensuring that all people with autism receive appropriate, effective services to maximize their growth potential and to enhancing the general public's overall awareness of autism.
