Photo contest accepting entries through Sept. 17

The Freehold Soil Conservation District is sponsoring a photo contest.

The district is looking for photos that promote the beauty and uniqueness of the natural environments found in Middlesex and Monmouth counties. The winner will receive $200; second place, $100; and third place, $75.

Photos must be taken in Middlesex or Monmouth County. There is a limit of one entry per person, age 18 and over. Photo location, landmark, town or address should be included with each entry. Photos should measure 8 inches by 10 inches or 8 inches by 12 inches (color or black and white).

Submissions must be received by Sept. 17. All photos become the property of the contest sponsor. Photos may be submitted by mail to Freehold SCD, 4000 Kozloski Road, P.O. Box 5033, Freehold, NJ 07728, or by e-mail to info@freeholdscd.org.
