Blood donors receive free admission to county fair The Middlesex County Fair will host a nightly blood drive at the fairgrounds, 655 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick, from Aug. 6-12. Blood donors will receive free admission for the daily blood drives scheduled through Friday from 5-9 p.m.; Saturday from noon to 6 p.m.; and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. Organizers are hoping to top last year's number of donors, which was 125, to help replenish the dwindling supply at area blood banks. Those who donate are entered into daily giveaway of Six Flags Great Adventure tickets and N.J. 101.5 prize packs, in addition to becoming eligible to win tickets to a New York Giants pre-season game, or a 2008 Somerset Patriots game. The bloodmobile will be stationed outside of Gate 3 in the fair parking lot. Those who wish to assist with registering donors may call (732) 416-1929.
