SEED initiative continues through Aug. 12

The fourth annual Summer Education Enrichment Development (SEED) initiative, hosted by the Jewish Learning Center Community Synagogue of Manalapan, 138 Pinebrook Road, is in the area through Aug. 12.

The program is designed to spread Torah knowledge and excitement for Judaism to children and adults through individual and group classes. A community barbecue will top off the annual summer event. No prior Jewish background is necessary.

Morning classes for children and adults run from 9:30 a.m. to noon, and evening classes are from 7:30-9 p.m. Special teen activities are planned.

Bowlers needed for a Saturday night league

The Freehold-Manalapan Chapter of American O.R.T. is looking for bowlers for a Saturday night monthly adult mixed bowling league. The league bowls the third Saturday of the month, starting on Sept. 15 at Howell Lanes. Whole teams or individuals can be accommodated. For more information, call Cindy at (732) 409-3742.
