Summer hoops

Youngsters hit the hardwood at Freehold Township High School on July 13 for the Freehold Township recreation summer basketball camp directed by Freehold Township High School girls varsity coach John Sciarappa. More than 100 children took part in drills, games and other fundamentals of basketball. At top left, Jordan Vance, 10, participates in an agility drill. The workouts on a hot summer day will pay dividends this winter when the players take to the court.
