CHRIS KELLY staff Cliff Cheifetz ard Christine Desaro, both of Freehold Township, sort books in anticipation of the AAUW book sale, which opens on June 27 in Freehold Borough.
FREEHOLD - Dedicated members of the Freehold Area Branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) have been working since last fall to collect and sort used books for their annual book sale to be held at the Freehold Reformed Church, 67 W. Main St.

The AAUW book sale will begin with a preview night on June 27 from 5-9 p.m. There will be a $7 admission fee for the preview night only.

The book sale will continue with free admission June 28-29 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., and June 23 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Prices for adult, hard-covered books are $1.50; paperbacks, 50 cents; large paperbacks, $1; and some specially-priced books.

Due to space limitations, donations of books are no longer being accepted. Collection will begin again in the fall. For questions, call Maizie Frenkiel at (732) 446-7992.
