Police start tip line in Freehold Borough

FREEHOLD - Anyone in Freehold Borough who sees what they believe is crime-related activity now has a special tip line telephone number to which they may report their concerns.

The Freehold Borough Police Department's Community Response Team has implemented a Crime Stoppers Police-Tip Line, (732) 431-0420, for residents to use as a means of helping to stop crime or wrongdoing when they see it happening.

"All calls to the tip line are confidential," Lt. Mark Wodell said.

Wodell said residents who see what they believe may be quality of life issue infractions, suspicious activity or what they believe to be crime-related activities such as dealing drugs can report their suspicions to the tip line without any questions being asked.
