Ruth (Stolzenberg) DeLuca

Mrs. DeLuca, 72, of Freehold, died May 30, 2007, at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. Born in Germany, she came to the United States in 1942, settling in Queens, N.Y, before moving to Brooklyn, N.Y., where she lived for 50 years. She moved to Freehold in 1997. Prior to retiring in 2000, Mrs. DeLuca was head bookkeeper for Waldbaum's, Brooklyn, for 30 years. Mrs. DeLuca was predeceased by her husband, Frank, in 1997. Surviving are a son, Michael DeLuca of Los Angeles; a daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and William Mendez of Old Bridge; a brother, George Stolzenberg of Germany; a sister, Dora Hilluck of Freehold; and three grandchildren. Services were held at Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, Manalapan. Memorial donations may be made to the Disabled American Veterans of New Jersey, 135 W. Hanover St., 4th Floor, Trenton 08618; or Trees for Israel, c/o Jewish National Fund, 78 Randall Ave., Rockville Centre, NY 11570.
