+ Monmouth Folk Dancers teach international folk dancing Tuesday nights from 7-10 p.m. at the United Methodist Church of Red Bank, 247 Broad St., Red Bank. Beginners are welcome. Park and enter from rear lot. Cost is $4 per person. No partners needed.

+ Italian American Association of Monmouth County will host a general meeting, June 6 at 7:30 p.m. at Christie's Italian Seafood & Grill, 2420 Route 9 south, Howell. The cost is $30 and includes a dinner buffet ad complimentary wine from the Wine Room of Manal-apan. Anyone 21 years of age and over is welcome. + MOMS Club of Manalapan is hosting a garage sale, June 9-10 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on McCaffery Road, off Wood-ward Road, Manalapan.

+ Manalapan High School cheerleaders will hold a car wash and garage sale fundraiser, June 9 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The car wash will be at Manalapan High School on Church Lane, off Tennent Road. + A strawberry festival will be held June 9 at 4 p.m. at Bethesda United Methodist Church, 928 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Howell. There will be strawberries and shortcake along with hot dogs and hamburgers. Support the Howell Food Pantry - bring canned goods for donation.

+ "A Trip to Broadway: Songs from Broadway's Greatest Musicals" will be performed in a concert, June 10 at 2 p.m. at the Monmouth County Library Head-quarters, 125 Symmes Drive. The program is free and open to the public.

+ Noontime Optimist Club of Free-hold will hold a "Ladies' Night Out," June 12 at 6 p.m. at Basile's Restaurant, 536 Park Ave., Freehold. Cost of the event is $35 per person.
