Giant yard sale will benefit three schools

The PTOs of three Freehold Borough schools (Freehold Learning Center, Park Avenue Elementary School and Freehold Intermediate School) will host a giant yard sale on May 19 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Area residents are encouraged to gather up all their "stuff" that has been collecting dust, rent a space at the yard sale and turn their castoffs into cash.

The sale is being held in the front parking lot of the Park Avenue Elemen-tary School on Park Avenue (Route 33). Ten-by-ten table spaces can be rented for $15 each (includes a $5 refundable cleanup fee); participants should bring their own table. Snacks will be sold by members of the participating student councils. The rain date is May 20.
