Police continue to investigate luring incident

Manalapan police have released this sketch of a man who is wanted for questioning in connection with an attempted child-luring incident that occurred May 1.

MANALAPAN - The Manalapan Police Department has released a composite sketch of a person who is wanted for questioning in an ongoing investigation of an attempted child-luring incident which occurred May 1.

According to police, at about 4 p.m. that day a man approached an 11-year-old girl who was riding her scooter on Madison Court in a residential development off of Craig Road. The man allegedly told the child to get into his car. The girl responded by running away from the man.

Police were contacted at about 5 p.m. and informed of the incident.

The suspect was last seen wearing a white coat and sunglasses. He is described as a white male with gray hair, about 50 years old. He was driving a silver four-door sedan.
