Freehold will host pair of antique festivals

The Freehold Center Partnership is inviting antiques dealers and collectors to participate in its 10th annual Spring AntiqueFest/Art Show on May 20 (rain date, May 27) from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on West Main Street between Court and Throckmorton streets.

An antique should be an objet d'art having special value due to its age. It can be a decorative accessory, piece of furniture or handicraft - any piece esteemed for its artistry, beauty or period of origin.

A collectible should be a rare object (one collected by investors) such as stamps, coins, oriental rugs or photographs.

In addition to the Spring AntiqueFest/Art Show, there is a Fall AntiqueFest on Sept. 16 (rain date, Sept. 23). To participate in one show, the fee is $60; to participate in both shows, the fee is $95. Spaces are 15 feet wide by 5 feet deep and vendors must provide their own tables.

For more information on how to apply, contact Allen Consulting, (732) 946-2711.
