Getting the word out

2007 Kick Butts Day was held March 28 at Manalapan High School. The REBEL (Reaching Everyone By Exposing Lies) Club had selected administrators, teachers and students wearing T-shirts, signing pledges not to smoke tobacco, listening to announcements with tobacco statistics and visiting a display table highlighting cigarette ingredients and featuring "Mr. Gross Mouth." Taking part in the activities were (l-r) Doug Goldman, Jenny Fitzgerald, Marisa Beirne and Jamie Gambuzza. The day's activities stressed an anti-tobacco message and the fact that 77 percent of high school students do not currently smoke tobacco.
