Kids Day America brings awareness to community

The town of Marlboro will participate in the 13th annual Kids Day America, May 19 from noon to 3 p.m. at Marlboro High School. The free community event is an international health, safety and environmental awareness day dedicated to the children of Marlboro, which will feature child ID cards from the Marlboro Police Department, McGruff the Crime Dog, and Monmouth Medical Centers Pediatrics Department.

Spinal screenings, and health and safety information will be available in addition to free food and giveaways. Proceeds from the event will benefit Parents of Autistic Children (POAC).
