Nature walk at Durand Park Mem. Arboretum

The Freehold Township Shade Tree Commission with the Rutgers Master Gardeners of Monmouth County is offering a nature walk in Durand Park on April 21. The event is free. Leaders will be Patrice McCoy and Nancy Mac Neill. Walkers should meet at the central kiosk in the Arboretum at 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 21. The park lies off Randolph Road between County Road 537 and Dutch Lane Road. The group will explore the woods, fields and pond areas of Durand. The Shade Tree Commission will also have information about the arboretum available. Dress for comfortable walking and the weather. Heavy rain will move the date to April 28.
