Games, knitting sessions offered at local library

Monmouth County Library Headquarters, 125 Symmes Drive, Manalapan offers games, knitting, art exhibits, music, movies, seminars and more, free of charge to the public.

The following programs are included in the library's schedule for the month of May:

+ Knitting is Fun for Everyone - May 3 and 17 at 7 p.m. All are welcome. Donations of skeins of wool are gladly accepted.

+ Play Chess - May 5, 12, 19 and 26 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

+ Play Mah Jongg - May 7, 14, and 21 at 12:30 p.m. Come with your set and play.

Monmouth County Library Headquarters will be closed May 13 and May 27. Headquarters and all branches will be closed May 28, in observance of Memorial Day.
