'Gigantic Garage Sale' to benefit high school band

Just in time for spring cleaning, the Manalapan High School Music Parents Association (MHSPA) will conduct a "Gigantic Multifamily Garage Sale" May 19 (rain date, May 20) from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., on Chesapeake Road, Manalapan.

MHSPA will accept donations of gently used items to be resold, with all proceeds benefiting the Manalapan High School Band. Items can be dropped off May 17-18 or by 6 a.m. on Saturday. Pickup can be arranged only for extra-large items. Items for sale will include books, toys and games, clothing, kitchen gadgets, tools, sporting goods, linens and more.

The sale will be held at 2 Chesapeake Road (from Pine Brook Road, turn onto Winthrop Road. Make third left onto Chesapeake Road), Manalapan. Details: (732) 446-5943.
