Antiques vendors needed for annual spring show Antiques dealers and collectors are invited to the Freehold Center Partnership's 10th annual Spring AntiqueFest/Art Show on Sunday, May 20 (rain date, May 27) from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on West Main Street (between Court and Throckmorton streets) An antique should be an "objet d'art" having special value due to its age. This "objet" can be a decorative accessory, piece of furniture or handicraft - any piece esteemed for its artistry, beauty or period of origin. A collectible should be a rare object (one collected by investors) such as stamps, coins, oriental rugs or photographs. In addition to the Spring AntiqueFest Art Show, there is a Fall AntiqueFest on Sept. 16 (rain date is Sept. 23). To participate in one show, the fee is $60; to participate in both shows, the fee is $95. Spaces are 15 feet wide by 5 feet deep and vendors must provide their own tables.
