The Chelsea at Manalapan, an assisted living community at 445 Route 9 South, Manalapan, will hold a free seminar for seniors, "Senior Fraud," April 18 at 2 p.m. Guest speaker is Rich Dalfanzo of the Monmouth County Department on Aging. Darren C. Barreiro, of Colts Neck, resident in the Woodbridge office of Greenbaum, Rowe, Smith and Davis LLP, has been named a partner of the firm.

Barreiro is a member of the firm's Litigation Department. He concentrates his practice in the areas of commercial and real estate litigation, with a particular emphasis in Chancery (Equity) matters. Prior to joining the firm, he served as law clerk to the Honorable Jack L. Lintner in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Chancery Division, Middlesex County, now a judge of the Superior Court, Appellate Division.

Barreiro is chair of the Middlesex County Bar Association Chancery Practice Committee. He is a member of the New Jersey State and the Federal Bar Associations. A graduate of Rutgers College, Rutgers University, he received his law degree from Rutgers School of Law.

Schoor DePalma, an engineering and consulting firm in Manalapan, has recently been named as one of the "Best Places to Work in New Jersey." Arc Resources Unlimited (ARU), a program of The Arc of Monmouth, and VSA arts of New Jersey announce their collaboration on a new art gallery at the Freehold Raceway Mall, featuring work by artists with disabilities. The gallery will offer exhibits, receptions with the artists, workshops, and open house gatherings.

The gallery is at the Freehold Raceway Mall, Route 9 South, Freehold. The gallery will celebrate its official opening, April 18, with an open house from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and a reception from 5-8 p.m. Advance registration is required for the reception. The celebration will feature exhibits, works of art and an opportunity to meet the artists.

Charles Weingroff of Jackson, a licensed physical therapist and certified athletic trainer who most recently worked with the Philadelphia 76ers, has joined CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township, as the lead therapist for the Rehabilitation Department's Sports Therapy Program. Sports physical therapy is a specialized area of physical therapy that concentrates on the rehabilitation of musculoskeletal athletic injuries to return active people to their maximum functional level.

Weingroff was the strength and conditioning coach/assistant athletic trainer for the Philadelphia 76ers from 2003 to 2006. Previously, he was a physical therapist and athletic trainer in the National Basketball Association Developmental League. Weingroff is a competitive power lifter who specializes in athletic rehabilitation and sports performance.
