Michael P. Walsh

Mr. Walsh, 57, of Freehold, died Feb. 6, 2007, at CentraState Medical Center, Free-hold Township. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he had resided in Freehold for the past four years. He was a custodian in Long Island City, New York, for 26 years. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War. Mr. Walsh was predeceased by two sisters, Rosemarie Walsh and Eileen Gonzalez, and a brother, Edward Walsh. Surviving are his mother, Agnes Moran Walsh; a brother, Daniel Walsh; and three sisters, Patricia Flanagan, Maureen Benter and Deborah Ramos. The funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Roman Catholic Church, Freehold, followed by interment at Long Island National Cemetery, Pinelawn, N.Y. Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold, was in charge of arrangements.
