Gertrude Cornell

Mrs. Cornell, 82, of Howell, died Feb. 5, 2007, at Kimball Medical Center, Lakewood. Born in Weinheim, Germany, she had lived there before moving to the U.S. in 1960. Mrs. Cornell settled in Howell in 1965 and worked in the area as a housekeeper. She was also employed for many years by Howell Lanes. She was predeceased by her husband, Martin L. Cornell, in 2003, as well as two brothers and three sisters. Surviving are two sons, Klause Cornell of Las Vegas and Martin "Butch" Cornell of Howell; and three grandchildren. A funeral service was held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township. Interment was private.
