Cecilia Burdge

Cecilia Burdge, 82, of Howell, died Feb. 22, 2007, at home. Born in Freehold Township, she had lived in the Cassville section of Jackson before moving to Howell in 1949. Mrs. Burdge was a homemaker. She also worked as a saleswoman for McCrory's department store, Freehold, for several years. Surviving are her husband of 58 years, George A. Burdge; a son and daughter-in-law, George A. Jr. and Robin Burdge of Freehold; a daughter and son-in-law, Jane and John Kalinauskas of Manal-apan; two brothers, William Edgar Jr. of Jackson and George Edgar of Maryland; five sisters, Matilda Webber of Lakewood, Frances Mott of Jackson, Naomi Kennett of Jackson, Geneva Kovacofsky of Lakewood and Phoebe Crammer of New Egypt; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Services were held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township, followed by interment at Evergreen Cemetery, Farmingdale.
