Official supports legislation on false bomb threats

I am writing in regard to state Assem-blywoman Amy Handlin's bomb threat legislation, A-3130. As a local elected official, I find it very important to protect our interests, especially when it comes to our children and schools. This key legislation will bring on stricter penalties to those who break the law regarding bomb threats.

I urge the Assembly Law and Public Safety Committee to take a stand here and pass this important legislation Assemblywoman Handlin has prepared.

We all want to protect our children and schools, and by passing this legislation we will send a message that we mean it. Please, again, I urge you to do the right thing.

I also want to thank Assemblywoman Handlin for taking the necessary steps to put legislation together to combat a problem that has affected so many schools in different communities around the state.
