Barbara Harris of Freehold was one of 142 Southwestern Oklahoma State University students on the Weatherford campus to have been named to the 2007 edition of Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.

The Who's Who award is one of the biggest academic honors on campus, because the students are selected from among some 950 seniors at SWOSU.

Campus nominating committees and editors of the annual directory selected the students based on academic achievements, service to the community, leadership in extracurricular activities and potential for continued success. The SWOSU students will be honored at a reception on Feb. 11.

Jerilyn Silberberg, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Silberberg of Freehold Township, has been named to the dean's list for the fall semester at Penn State University, State College, Pa. She is a 2003 graduate of Freehold Township High School.

Skyler Sourifman, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Howard Sourifman of Freehold Township, was named to the dean's list for the fall semester at Cornell Univer-sity, Ithaca, N.Y. Skyler is currently a sophomore enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences majoring in communications/applied economics and management.

Rishi Chitkara of Marlboro has been named to the dean's list for the fall semester at Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences at Northwestern University, Evanston, Ill.
