Freehold Township’s generosity helps those who are less fortunate

Every year as the holiday season approaches and the need for those less fortunate becomes more evident than other times throughout the year, I panic that my office will be unable to meet the needs of the community.

Then a miracle happens, and the Freehold Township community and its employees rise to the occasion and provide for those needs with open hearts and open wallets.

This year as in years past, meals were provided for Thanksgiving, holiday tables will be set and gifts will be given.

My love and heartfelt thanks go out to the Freehold Township employees; the East Freehold Fire Company (for an extremely generous donation); the Rosen-baum family (JR Trading Co. Inc.).

Also, First Washington Bank; Brunswick Bank and Trust; Home Depot; the Youth Group of Abundant Life Church; Montes-sori Enrichment Center of Howell; Dr. Michael Lynch; the Irish Federation of Monmouth County;

And, Red Hat Chapter the Scarlet Rouses; Monmouth County Vocational School students; the Aurilia family; the Ervin family; and Girl Scout Troop 194.

Happy holidays.

RoseAnn P. Polo
