Allegro!, a 32-member chorus of men and women, is seeking male singers for "The Many Moods of Christmas," a holiday concert that will be presented Dec. 10 in the Algonquin Arts Theatre in Manasquan. The Pennington Players will hold auditions for "The Baker's Wife" from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 21 and 7-10 p.m. Oct. 24 at Mercer County Community College, 1200 Old Trenton Road, West Windsor. The cast includes 18 actors, 11 male and seven female. All roles are open. Actors are required to have outstanding comic timing in addition to great singing voices. Auditioners should prepare one complete song from musical theater and bring sheet music. An accompanist will be provided. Songs that showcase comedic ability are preferred for most roles.
