Air Force Airman Darrell L. Willis Jr., son of Gail and Darrell L. Willis of Howell, has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. Airmen who complete basic training earn credits toward an associate degree through the Community College of the Air Force. During his six weeks of training, Willis studied the Air Force mission, organization, and military customs and courtesies; performed drill and ceremony marches; participated in rifle marksmanship and field training exercises; and received physical training along with special training in human relations. He is a 2004 graduate of Freehold Township High School.
