Florence E. Hemmes Young

Mrs. Young, 86, of the Dayton section of South Brunswick, died Aug. 30 at Saint Peter's University Hospital, New Brunswick. Born in Staten Island, N.Y., she resided in Plainsboro, prior to moving to Dayton seven years ago. She was a homemaker. She was predeceased by her husband, Norman Young. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, James and Karen Young of Englishtown; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Barbara Nemeth of Florida, Carol and Samuel Ralston of Jamesburg, and Deborah and Howard Craig of Plainsboro; eight grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. Interment was at Chestnut Hill Cemetery, East Brunswick. Memorial donations may be made to Humane Society, 2100 L St. NW, Washington, D.C. 20037; or North Shore Animal League, 25 Davis Ave., Port Washington, NY 11050.

Annelies D'Ambola

Mrs. D'Ambola, 65, of Old Bridge, died Aug. 9 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. She was predeceased by her husband, William D'Ambola Sr. in 1991. She is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law, William and Laura D'Ambola Jr. of Old Bridge, and Raymond D'Ambola of Milford, Pa.; two daughters and one son-in-law, Maria Johnson of Howell, and Lisa and Mike O'Grady of Brick; a brother, Peter Muehlan of Red Bank; two sisters, Barbara Schumacher and Regina Albert, both of Germany; and nine grandchildren. Grace Ann Burzi

Mrs. Burzi, 55, of Manalapan, died Aug. 8 at home. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she had lived there before moving to Manalapan 25 years ago. For the past five years, she was employed by the township of Manalapan, where she worked in the finance department. Surviving are her husband, Peter Burzi; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Vincent and Karen Burzi of East Windsor, and Peter Luke Burzi of Manalapan; a daughter and son-in-law, Maria and Jerry Green of Manalapan; her mother, Jean Bono of Buffalo, N.Y.; a brother, James Bono of Buffalo; a sister, Anna Bono of Cortland Manor, N.Y.; and four grandchildren. Interment took place at The Green-Wood Cemetery, Brooklyn. Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, Manalapan, was in charge of arrangements.

Joseph V. Fanelli

Mr. Fanelli, 61, of Freehold Township, died Aug. 17 at the John L. Montgomery Care Center, Freehold Township. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he had lived in Hicksville, Long Island, N.Y., before moving to Freehold Township 20 years ago. He was a stock trader for Credit Suisse First Boston, Jersey City, for 40 years. He was also a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Roman Catholic Church, Freehold. Surviving are his wife of 30 years, Julie; three sons and a daughter-in-law, Brian Fanelli and Robert Fanelli, both of Freehold, and Joseph and Diane Fanelli of Long Island; a sister and brother-in-law, Ann and Joe Romano of Staten Island, N.Y.; and three grandchildren, Jenna, Nicholas and Brianna. A funeral liturgy was offered at St. Rose of Lima Church, followed by interment at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold Township. Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, Manalapan, was in charge of arrangements.
