Spotlight Players will hold auditions for the musical "Crazy For You" Sept. 9, 10 a.m.-2 p.m., at First Presbyterian Church of Matawan, Route 34 and Franklin Street. Roles are available for adults and teens ages 13 and up, and tap dancers. Bring sheet music in your key and wear comfortable clothing for dance audition. Performances are Nov. 4-12. Auditions for "The Rocky Horror Show" will be held Sept. 7 and 8 at 7:30 p.m. at the Cabaret Theatre, corner of Nichol Avenue and Suydam Street on the Douglass College campus of Rutgers University, New Brunswick. Callbacks will be Sept. 9 at the Cabaret Theatre. Seeking 20 to 25 performers. Come prepared with 16 measures of a song from a rock musical; "Rocky Horror" songs acceptable. Monmouth Players will hold auditions for Steve Martin's "Picasso at the Lapin Agile" Sept. 10 at 7 p.m. and Sept. 13 at 8 p.m. at the Navesink Library Theater, Sears and Monmouth avenues, Middletown. Needed are two women ages 20-40 and six men ages 25-65. Three of the male roles are real-life characters: Albert Einstein, Pablo Picasso and Elvis Presley. Performance dates are in December.
