Down Memory Lane

Manalapan High School graduate Ed Zucker took his basketball skills to Rutgers University, New Brunswick, in the fall of 1983 and went on to play in 89 games for the Scarlet Knights over five seasons. Zucker, who scored 615 points and pulled down 297 rebounds for the Scarlet Knights, had his college career curtailed by injuries. Zucker remains the all-time scoring leader among boys in the Freehold Regional High School District with 1,861 points.
