David E. Tannenbaum, son of Robbin and Neil Tannenbaum of Marl-boro, was named to the dean's list for the spring semester at Penn State Univer-sity, State College, Pa., where he is enrolled in the College of Information Sciences and Technology.

Lebanon Valley College, Annville, Pa., has named the following local students to the spring semester dean's list: Sarah A. Thompson of Marlboro, a junior elementary education major; and Ashley N. Johnson of Freehold, a senior elementary education major.

Jessica Strugibenetti of Manal-apan received a juris doctor degree from Albany Law School, Albany, N.Y.

Boston University has awarded degrees to the following graduates from Howell:

Ryan J. Ellis, bachelor of arts in Japanese language and literature; cum laude; Melissa L. Hagadorn, bachelor of arts in psychology; and Johanna B. Lanning, bachelor of arts in international relations.

In addition, the university named the following Freehold residents to the spring semester dean's list: Aditya R. Kancharla, Sunena K. Tewani and Thomas E. Tyrrell.

Randall N. Stein, son of Elise and Howard Stein of Manalapan, was named to the dean's list for the spring semester at Tulane University, New Orleans, where he is a distinguished honors scholar and a member of the honors program as well as a Green Wave ambassador. He is a 2004 graduate of Manalapan High School.

Lisa Gingold, daughter of Donna and Lenny Gingold of Manalapan, was named to the dean's list for the spring semester at Muhlenberg College, Allen-town, Pa. She is a 2003 graduate of Man-alapan High School.

Lisa Vogel, daughter of Debra and Howard Vogel of Marlboro, was named to the dean's list for the spring semester at Penn State University, State College, Pa., where she is enrolled in the College of Health and Human Development. She is a 2005 graduate of Marlboro High School.

Jacqueline V. Smith, daughter of Joan V. and David S. Smith of Manal-apan, has graduated from Georgetown University, Washington, D.C., summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa. She also is a member of Omicron Delta Epsilon, the international honor society in economics; and Pi Mu Epsilon, the national honorary mathematics society.

Libre J. Katzman, daughter of Bernice and Steven Katzman of Marl-boro, has received a master's degree in elementary and special education from Rutgers College, New Brunswick. She also received a certificate of excellence for her score on the New Jerey Teaching Praxis.

Arielle L. Katzman, daughter of Bernice and Steven Katzman of Marl-boro, has been inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. She also was inducted into Psi Chi, the national honor society in psychology, and was named to the dean's list at Brandeis University, Waltham, Mass., where she will be a senior with a triple major and double minor.
