Alfonso Medoro

Mr. Medoro, 63, of Jackson, died June 30 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Born in Queens, N.Y., he had lived in Staten Island, N.Y., before moving to Marlboro and then to Jackson. Prior to retiring, he was a building manager for The Expansion Group, New York City, for more than 30 years. He loved fishing and going to Atlantic City. Surviving are his wife, Rose; a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Dawn Medoro of Staten Island; and a daughter, Debbie Medoro of Jackson and her fiance, Nunzio. A funeral service was held at Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, Manalapan. Interment took place at Marlboro Cemetery, Marlboro.

Avery Owenburg

Avery Owenburg, 8 months, of Howell, died July 12 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. Born in Neptune, she had lived in Howell since she was born. Surviving are her parents, Jennifer and Cory Owenburg of Howell; a brother, Brayden Owenburg, at home; her maternal grandparents, Ellen and Angelo Piro of Manalapan; her paternal grandparents, Deborah and Billy Owenburg of Freehold; her great-grandparents, Marie and Robert MacDougall of Florida; her great-great-grandmother, Viola MacDougall of Jackson; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. A Mass of the Angels was celebrated at The Church of St. Veronica, Howell, followed by interment at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold Township. The Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township, was in charge of arrangements.

Dora C. Galgano Pedoto

Mrs. Pedoto, 89, of Colts Neck, died July 12 at Colts Neck Village Assisted Living, Colts Neck. Born in Nyack, N.Y., she had lived in Fairview, Cliffside Park and the Lincroft section of Middletown before moving to Colts Neck three years ago. Mrs. Pedoto was a packager for Clark O'Neill Co., North Bergen, for 20 years, retiring in 1972. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Grace Roman Catholic Church, Fairview. Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Grace Pedoto of Tuxedo Park, N.Y., and Gene and Lynda Pedoto of Lincroft; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Burial took place at Fair View Cemetery, Middletown. The John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown, was in charge of arrangements.

Joyce Elizabeth Chenoweth

Mrs. Chenoweth, 66, of the Port Monmouth section of Middletown, died July 2 at home. Born in Jersey City, she resided there before moving to Port Monmouth 55 years ago. She was a teacher's aide and teacher at Friendship Preschool, Middletown, where she was employed six years. Mrs. Chenoweth was a parishioner for 55 years at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, New Monmouth section of Middletown, and a past president of St. Mary's PTA. She was a member of the Port Monmouth First Aid Ladies Auxiliary, and also coached girls soccer and softball for the Middletown Youth Athletic Association. She bowled with the Marasco Memorial Women's Bowling League for the past 35 years. Mrs. Chenoweth is survived by her husband of 46 years, Bernie Chenoweth; two daughters and sons-in-law, Deborah and Kevin McCauley of Middletown, and Patricia and Gary Frost of Colts Neck; four sons and daughters-in-law, Bernie and Donna Chenoweth of the Belford section of Middletown, David and Antoinette Chenoweth of Port Monmouth, Michael and Tracy Chenoweth of Port Monmouth, and Robert and Monica Chenoweth of Middletown; a sister, Barbara Hyneman of Atlantic Highlands; and 18 grandchildren. A funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. Mary's Church, followed by burial at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Middletown. The John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown, was in charge of arrangements.

Lucille A. Miller

Mrs. Miller, 57, of Jackson, died July 2 at home. Born in Jersey City, she had lived in East Brunswick and Monroe before moving to the Four Seasons at Metedeconk Lakes, Jackson, in 2004. She was a program manager for Computer Sciences Corp., Piscataway. Prior to that, she had been employed by AT&T, East Brunswick, as a district manager, and had also owned and operated Classic Cleaners in Marlboro. Mrs. Miller was predeceased in 1992 by her father, Philip Lisa. Surviving are her husband, Gary Miller; two sons and daughters-in-law, Gregory T. and Robyn Tanner, and Eric P. and Kelli Tanner, all of Freehold; a daughter, Marisa Fennimore of Freehold; her mother, Caroline Lisa of Jackson; a brother and sister-in-law, Philip and Patricia Lisa of Jackson; a sister, Annie Alexis of Freehold; and five grandchildren. A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Jackson, followed by entombment at St. Gabriel's Cemetery Mausoleum, Marlboro. The Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township, was in charge of arrangements. Josephine M. Ferris Donadio

Mrs. Donadio, 77, of Middletown, died July 5 at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. Born in the Bronx, N.Y., she resided in Middletown the past 35 years. Mrs. Donadio was a baker at Delicious Orchards, Colts Neck, for 12 years. She also had been employed at Macy's Herald Square, New York City. She was a communicant of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, New Monmouth section of Middletown. Mrs. Donadio was predeceased by her husband, Louis Donadio, in 1988. She is survived by three sons and one daughter-in-law, Louis A. Donadio and Christopher Donadio, both of Middletown, and Joseph and Colleen Donadio of Howell; and one granddaughter. A funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. Mary's Church, followed by burial at St. Raymond's Cemetery, Bronx, N.Y. The John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown, was in charge of arrangements.

Carlton F. Matthews

Mr. Matthews, 64, of Farmingdale, died July 9 at home. Born in Neptune, he was a lifelong resident of Farmingdale. Prior to retiring 12 years ago, Mr. Matthews was a plumber/steamfitter for United Association Plumbers & Pipefitters Local No. 9, Manalapan. A U.S. Army veteran, he served during the Vietnam War. He was a life member of Pierce Memorial Presbyterian Church, Farmingdale, where he was a trustee and an elder. He also co-founded and actively volunteered for Joshua House Ministries, Farmingdale. Surviving are his wife, Judith Matthews; a son and daughter-in-law, Carlton "Ed" and Elena Matthews of Texas; a daughter and son-in-law, Shelly M. and Bill McAteer of Brick; his father, Lester Matthews of Lynch, Md.; two brothers, Lester "Bob" Matthews of Farmingdale and Clifford Matthews of Wharton, Md.; a sister, Janice Lee Dey of Betterton, Md.; and two grandchildren. A funeral service was held at Pierce Memorial Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Steven Kengeter officiating. Interment followed at Evergreen Cemetery, Farmingdale. The Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township, was in charge of arrangements. Evelyn Adams Clencewicki

Mrs. Clencewicki, 80, of South River, died June 23 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge. She was predeceased by two brothers, Norbert and Thomas Adams; and three sisters, Margaret Parker, Norma Gryzwack and Alice Lang. Mrs. Clencewicki is survived by her husband, Michael; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Alan Clencewicki of Bernardsville, and Dr. Michael and Judy Clencewicki of Marlboro; and two grandchildren. A funeral liturgy was celebrated at Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church, South River. Arrangements were by the Maliszewski Funeral Home, South River.
