Dolores Wolff

Mrs. Wolff, 72, of Manalapan, died May 9 at Madison Center, Matawan. Born in Queens, N.Y., she resided there prior to moving to Covered Bridge seven years ago. She was a keypunch operator at Palisades Institute, Greenwich Village, N.Y., for 45 years, retiring in 1998. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert in 1997. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Chris and mari Wolff of Aberdeen; a daughter and son-in-law, Robin and Xavier Espinoza of Queens, N.Y.; a brother, William Thompson of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.; a sister, Betty Zehner of York, Pa.; and four grandchildren. Arrangements were by Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, Manalapan. Memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society, 801 Broad St., Shrewsbury 07702.

Kathryn E. Storer

Mrs. Storer, 88, of Myrtle Beach, S.C., died May 21 at home. Born in Freehold, she had lived in Marlboro and Freehold for most of her life before moving to Myrtle Beach seven years ago. Before her retirement, Mrs. Storer operated a sheltered care boarding home in Marlboro. Her husband, Stanley L. Storer, died in 1978. She was also predeceased by three sisters, Margaret Stankiewicz, Anna Desider and Jean Hempstead. Mrs. Storer is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Barbara A. and Donald Andrews of Myrtle Beach; a sister, Dorothy Rasmussen of Freehold Township; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson. Funeral services were held at the Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold, followed by interment at Old Tennent Cemetery, Tennent section of Manalapan.

Dorothy L. Keohane

Mrs. Keohane, 78, of Jackson, died May 23 at home. Born in the Stapleton section of Staten Island, N.Y., she had resided in Woodbridge for 23 years and in Spring Hill, Fla., for 10 years before moving to Jackson to be with family. A former employee of the federal government, she had worked as a food supervisor at the U.S. Public Health Service Hospital, Staten Island. Mrs. Keohane was a former member of St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church, Spring Hill, where she was a eucharistic minister. She also served as vice president of the St. Vincent de Paul Society in Spring Hill. Mrs. Keohane is survived by her husband of 56 years, Cornelius J. Keohane Sr.; four sons, Raymond Keohane of Chesterfield, Va., Robert Keohane of Laflin, Pa., and Spring Hill, Cornelius J. Keohane Jr. of Jackson, and Michael Keohane of Freehold Township; and two daughters, Maureen Hinds of Jackson and Donna Silogy-Gigante of Freehold Township. A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Robert Bellarmine Roman Catholic Church, Freehold Township. Interment was private. The Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township, was in charge of arrangements. Benedict Aquilina

Mr. Aquilina, 68, of Manalapan, died May 24. Born in Elizabeth, he had been a resident of Manalapan for 41 years. Before his retirement in 1992, Mr. Aquilina was a guidance counselor for the Elizabeth School System for 38 years. He was a member of the Elizabeth Education Association, the National Education Association, and Sigma Nu of the University of Maryland. Mr. Aquilina is survived by his wife, Peggy; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Paul and Helen Aquilina of Englishtown, Adam and Valerie Aquilina of Howell, and Ben Aquilina of Manalapan; a daughter, Melissa Aquilina-McNamara of Manalapan; and five grandchildren. The funeral service was held at the Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, Manalapan. Interment was private.

William L. Reilly

Mr. Reilly, of Ocean Township, died May 24 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune Township. Born in County Monaghan, Ireland, he had lived in Freehold before moving to Ocean Township in 1998. Mr. Reilly was chief carpenter at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel, New York City, where he was employed from 1955 until his retirement in 1996. He was a communicant of St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church, West End, a former communicant of St. Rose of Lima Roman Catholic Church, Freehold, and a member of Freehold Council No. 1672 Knights of Columbus. Mr. Reilly is survived by his wife, Frances McCarron Reilly; a son, Brian Reilly of Brooklyn, N.Y.; three daughters, Julie Reilly of Wrightstown, Frances Reilly-Jacobus of Cream Ridge, and Patricia Bodnar of Heidelberg, Germany; and six grandchildren. A memorial Mass will be celebrated in July. Memorial donations may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, 740 Broad St., Shrewsbury 07702. The Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold, is in charge of arrangements.

William F. Brash Sr.

Mr. Brash, 91, of Middletown, died May 25 at Dellridge Health & Rehabilitation Center, Paramus. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he resided in Middletown and Orange before moving to Paramus three years ago. He was a sales representative at C.R. Daniels, Baltimore, for 38 years, retiring in 1978. He was predeceased by his wife, Martha Butterfield, in 1986; a daughter, Linda Mersfelder; and two sisters, Marjorie Burke and Alice Dawson. Mr. Brash is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, William F. and Elena Brash Jr. of Freehold; two daughters and sons-in-law, Meredith and John Spano of Southfield, N.Y., and Deborah Brash and David Gallagher of Teaneck; a brother, Leonard Brash of Connecticut; a sister, Audrey Gumpert of Del Ray Beach, Fla.; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. A graveside service was held at Fairview Cemetery, Middletown. The Freeman Funeral Home, Freehold, was in charge of arrangements.

Norman Volk

Mr. Volk, 71, of Marlboro, died May 25 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and had lived in Freehold and Manalapan before moving to Marlboro. Before his retirement in 2005, Mr. Volk was an attorney for Norman Volk & Associates for 16 years. He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Sandra; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Michael Volk of Manhattan Beach, Calif., and Glenn and Alison Volk of Manalapan; a daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Michael Lynch of Lumberton; two stepsons, Richard Davidson and his fiancee Renee Chmelar, of Seattle, Wash., and Scott Davidson and his wife Molly, of Arlington, Va.; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Paul and Adrienne Volk of St. Paul, Minn., and Shelly and June Volk of Phoenix, Ariz.; and six grandchildren. Funeral services were held at Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, Manalapan. Memorial donations may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, 1 Robert Wood Johnson Place, New Brunswick 08903.

Lois Jean Levin

Mrs. Levin, 59, of Howell, died May 26 at home after a brief battle with cancer. She was born in Long Branch and had lived in Freehold before moving to Howell in 1974. Mrs. Levin was a social work supervisor for the Monmouth County Division of Social Services, Freehold Township, where she was employed for 28 years before her retirement in February. She was a graduate of Freehold High School, class of 1965, attended the University of Bridgeport, Bridgeport, Conn., and earned a bachelor of arts degree from Trenton State College (now The College of New Jersey), Ewing. She was an active member of Congregation Ahavat Achim, Howell, where she served on the board of directors and executive board, was a director of Kiddush and youth group director, and was a past president of the Sisterhood. She also worked with the homeless in Monmouth County and at The Pantry, shelters, senior centers, her synagogue, and youth groups. Mrs. Levin was predeceased by her parents, Jerome Sidney and Ethel Fisher Fox, and a brother, Franklin Jacob Fox, who died in 1946. She is survived by her husband, Stewart Levin; two sons and daughters-in-law, Richard A. and Karen Levin, and Neal A. and Tina Levin, all of Howell; a brother and sister-in-law, Jay and Kim Fox of Howell; and two sisters and brothers-in-law, Judi and Joe Applegate-Zager of Camden, Del., and Marcia and Hal Rifkin of Manalapan. Funeral services were held at the Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold, followed by interment at Beth Israel Memorial Park, Woodbridge. Sophie Ulikowski

Mrs. Ulikowski, 84, of Jackson, died May 26 at The Manor Care Center, Freehold Township. Born in Jersey City, she had lived in Freehold for most of her life before moving to Jackson 17 years ago. Prior to retiring, Mrs. Ulikowski was employed by the Brockway Glass Co., Freehold Township. She was predeceased in 1992 by her husband, Thomas Paul Ulikowski Sr. Surviving are four sons, Stanley Ulikowski, Thomas Paul Ulikowski Jr. of Cookstown, Frank Ulikowski of Barnegat and Dennis Ulikowski of Freehold; two daughters, Dolores Trotter of Keansburg and Julie Globis of Dresden, Ohio; 23 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold, followed by interment at Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold Township. Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 19 Schoolhouse Road, Somerset 08873.

Marilyn A. Benduga Cahill

Mrs. Cahill, 76, of Keyport, died May 27 at Englewood Community Hospital, Englewood. Born in Irvington, she resided in Hazlet before moving to Keyport 55 years ago. Mrs. Cahill was a homemaker. She was a communicant of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Keyport. She is survived by her husband, Arthur J. Cahill; a daughter, Beth Ellen Freirich of Keyport; three sons, Arthur J. Cahill III of Colts Neck, and Tim Cahill and Shawn Cahill, both Hazlet; two sisters, Valeria Sanderson of Toms River and Corvine Steigman of Virginia; 11 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. A funeral liturgy was offered at St. Joseph's Church, followed by interment at the church's cemetery. The Day Funeral Home, Keyport, was in charge of arrangements.

Fred Haberman

Mr. Haberman, 68, of Marlboro, died May 22. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he had been a resident of Marlboro for the past 35 years. Mr. Haberman worked in the garment center in New York City, where he owned several companies, including Nu-Blends, H&S Fabrics and MS Fabrics. He is survived by his wife, Susan; daughters Daryl Hornik, Danielle Konigsberg and Nicole Keller; a brother, Jerry Haberman; and five grandchildren. Arrangements were by Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, Manalapan.

Debra M. Zalepka

Miss Zalepka, 48, of the Cliffwood Beach section of Old Bridge, died May 25 at home. Born in South Amboy, she was a lifelong resident of Cliffwood Beach. She was predeceased by her father, John Zalepka, in 1994; and her mother, Clara C. Zalepka, in 1989. Miss Zalepka is survived by two sisters, Sharon Galya of Cliffwood Beach and Janice Geant of Florida; six brothers, Jeffrey Zalepka of Hazlet, Charles Murphy of Bricktown, Nicholas Zalepka of Pennsylvania, John Zalepka of the Morganville section of Marlboro, Martin Zalepka of Keyport and Joseph Zalepka of Matawan; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at Jesus the Lord Roman Catholic Church followed by interment at St. Joseph's Cemetery, both in Keyport. The Day Funeral Home, Keyport, was in charge of arrangements.
