Colts Neck students chosen for honor choir

Three fourth-grade members of the Conover Road School Players were selected to participate in the 2006 New Jersey Elementary Honor Choir. Conover Road School is located in Colts Neck.

Suzie Eidmann-Hicks, Erica Fishberg and Jacqueline Teitelbaum were chosen for the choir from students throughout the state through a rigorous audition process. The auditions were prepared by the students with the guidance of their director, Debra Tarby, music teacher at Conover Road School.

The concert of the New Jersey Elementary and Junior High School honor choirs was held May 6 at Somerville High School. The concert included musical selections of several different genres and many cultures, and Erica was chosen to sing in a small ensemble during the concert.
