Erin Brogan, daughter of Ellen and Michael Brogan of Manalapan, was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at the University of Notre Dame, South Bend, Ind. She is a 2003 graduate of Manalapan High School.

Centenary College, Hackettstown, has awarded master of business administration degrees to Charles P. Orfan and Monique L. Junchaya, both of Howell.

Kenneth Kosza of Freehold was named to the dean’s list for the spring term at Springfield College, Springfield, Mass. He is a fourth-year student majoring in psychology.

Ashley Leifer, daughter of Cheryl and Jerry Leifer of the Morganville section of Marlboro, was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at the University of Rhode Island, Kingston, R.I. She is a communications major.

Jeffrey Brown, son of the Rev. and Mrs. Scott Brown of Colts Neck, was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at Hope College, Holland, Mich.

The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey, Pomona, has awarded degrees to the following graduates from the local area: Lindsey M. Bowen of Freehold, bachelor of science degree in speech pathology and audiology; Genna A. Saler of Marlboro, bachelor of arts degree in psychology; and Melissa B. Unold of Manalapan, bachelor of science degree in business studies, marketing track.

Karen McGee of Manalapan has graduated from Quinnipiac University, Hamden, Conn., with a master’s degree in occupational therapy. She also received the School of Health Sciences’ Occupational Therapy Student Achieve-ment Award at the commencement ceremonies.

Adam A. D’Agostino, son of Daria and Michael D’Agostino of Manalapan, received a bachelor of science degree in finance with a minor in political science from the Rutgers Business School, New Brunswick.

Jason P. Levy, son of Meryl and Bob Levy of Manalapan, has graduated from Syracuse University’s College of Arts and Sciences, Syracuse, N.Y., with a bachelor of science degree in biology. He is a 2001 graduate of Manalapan High School.

Bryan A. Glanzberg, son of Marcia and Eli Glanzberg of Manalapan, was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at Indiana University, Bloom-ington, where he has completed his junior year at the Kelly School of Business. He is a 2002 graduate of Manalapan High School.

Alyse Altman, daughter of Sandra and Jan Altman of Marlboro, has been elected to Phi Beta Kappa at Rutgers College, New Brunswick. She also has been accepted into the Rutgers Univer-sity Graduate School of Education’s five-year teacher education program in the field of elementary/special education. A 2002 graduate of Freehold Township High School, she is a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars.

Rebecca Silberberg, daughter of Dr. Steve and Nina Silberberg of Manal-apan, has graduated with honors from Columbia University, New York City. She also was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester. She will attend Cornell Law School, Ithaca, N.Y., in the fall.

Kelly J. McGaheran of Freehold was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at Barton College, Wilson, N.C.

Rachel Isaacs of Manalapan, daughter of Drs. Paula and Charles Isaacs, was chosen as a student commencement speaker at Wellesley College, Wellesley, Mass. A religion major, she was named to Phi Beta Kappa and received the Jacqueline Kreiger Klein Fellowship for Jewish Studies. Following graduation, she will study Hebrew scripture and Jewish law at the Pardes Institute for Jewish Studies in Jerusalem.

Emily Wikoff of Manalapan, a junior elementary education major at Rider University, Lawrenceville, received the Mercer County Retired Education Association Award at Rider’s annual awards banquet.

Boston College, Chestnut Hill, Mass., has awarded degrees to the following graduates from the local area:

Dwight S. Lee of Englishtown, bachelor of arts degree in computer science; Freehold residents Robert Miller, cum laude, bachelor of arts degree in English, and Jessica J. Rosen, cum laude, bachelor of arts degree in communication; Robert M. Albanese of Howell, bachelor of arts degree in elementary education and history; and Manalapan residents Anne Murphy, cum laude, bachelor of arts degree in communication, and Trevor L. Rozier-Byrd, bachelor of arts degree in political science and theology.

Sharon Leff, daughter of Bonnie and Steven Leff of Manalapan, was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at Towson University, Towson, Md., where she is a journalism major in the School of Mass Communications and associate editor of The Towerlight campus newspaper. She is a 2004 graduate of Manalapan High School.

Rowan University, Glassboro, named 32 student-athletes to the New Jersey Athletic Conference All-Academic Teams. To be eligible, a student-athlete must be a sophomore, junior or senior who is a starter or significant contributor in a conference-sponsored sport and must have a minimum GPA of 3.2. Two students were named to the first team, two to the second team, and 28 received honorable mention. From the local area, two Manalapan residents received honorable mention: Patrick DiComo, men’s soccer, a health and exercise science major; and Jessica Meloro, women’s soccer, a history/secondary education.

Lindsay Sorin, daughter of Randi and David Sorin of Marlboro, was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at Hamilton College, Clinton, N.Y. A graduate of Marlboro High School, she is a rising junior majoring in government.

Lauren A. Cohen of Manalapan has received a bachelor of arts degree with a major in literature and a minor in Jewish studies from The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey, Pomona. She also was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester. She is a graduate of Manalapan High School.

Michele Gross of Manalapan, daughter of Alison and Kenneth Gross, received a university honors citation in a ceremony at the University of Maryland, College Park, Md. The citation signifies the successful completion of the first two years of honors course work. She is a 2003 graduate of the Freehold Regional High School District’s Medical Sciences Specialized Learning Center at Freehold High School, Freehold Borough.

Lauren Guariglia of Colts Neck, a senior elementary education major at Rider University, Lawrenceville, re-ceived the Student Education Associ-ation Award at the university’s annual awards banquet.

Noah S. Fulmer, son of Cheryl and Barry Fulmer of Freehold Township, has graduated magna cum laude from Brown University, Providence, R.I., with a bachelor of science degree in cognitive neuroscience from the Department of Cogni-tive and Linguistic Sciences. He also received an award from the department for his work in his concentration and honors thesis, titled “Brain Diabetes: Insulin Resistance and Alzheimer’s Disease.” He is a 2001 graduate of the Freehold Regional High School District’s Science and Engineering Specialized Learning Center at Manalapan High School.

Alex S. Rich of Manalapan was named to the dean’ list for the spring semester at Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta.

Kutztown University of Pennsyl-vania, Kutztown, has awarded degrees to the following graduates from the local area: Howell residents Samantha A. Maietta, bachelor of arts degree in English, professional writing, and Amanda M. Riechers, bachelor of science degree in general studies; April M. Lanahan of Marlboro, bachelor of arts degree in sociology; and Lori A. Sacchetto of Freehold, magna cum laude, bachelor of science degree in education, library science, with elementary education certification;

Greg Dobson, son of Susan and Gordon Dobson of Marlboro, has earned a bachelor of science degree in business administration with an emphasis in global management from Susquehanna University, Selinsgrove, Pa. While at Susquehanna, Dobson was a four-year letter winner in baseball and served as team captain in 2005.

Cornell University, Ithaca, N.Y., has awarded degrees to the following graduates from Freehold: Kenneth Cheung, bachelor of architecture degree; Himabindu Kolli, bachelor of arts degree in government; and Gregory Poucher, bachelor of science degree in computer science.

Lehigh University, Bethlehem, Pa., has named the following local residents to the spring semester dean’s list: Joseph Curatolo and Christian Roche, both of Freehold; Ramon Pressburger Jr. and Kathryn Whitesell, of Howell; Amanda Ecker, Stacie Rosenberg and Kyle Shapiro, of Manalapan; and Thomas Zubulake of Marlboro.

Noelle Sciacca of Manalapan was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at Liberty University, Lynchburg, Va.

Bucknell University, Lewisburg, Pa., has named the following students from the area to the spring semester dean’s list: Erica V. Ducore of English-town, a graduate of Manalapan High School, daughter of Michael Ducore and Cynthia King; and Randi D. Ginsberg of Marlboro, a graduate of Marlboro High School, daughter of Marc and Terri Ginsberg.

Derek A. Cinquemani, son of Charles Cinquemani of Manalapan, has graduated from Montclair State Univer-sity, Upper Montclair, with a bachelor of science degree. He is a graduate of Manalapan High School.
