Italian conversation group forming

Individuals with some knowledge of the Italian language who are interested in developing their skills are invited to participate in a new Italian conversation class that will be held in Manalapan beginning in mid June.

The class is for adults and is appropriate for those who are currently able to engage in simple conversations. According to its organizer, Marlene Pedersen, the classes will be informal and will provide an opportunity for participants to enhance their speaking and comprehension skills through practice and direction as provided by the group’s facilitator, Linda Schiano. Schiano is a certified Italian teacher and is currently teaching at Manalapan-Englishtown Middle School.

The group will meet for eight weeks, and the fee will fall somewhere between $55 and $65 per person.
