Marlboro plans a day of holiday fun

MARLBORO — The Marlboro Town-ship Recreation and Parks Commission will present “A Very Merry Holiday Celebration” for children of all ages. The holiday program will take place on Dec. 12 from noon to 4 p.m. at the Marlboro Recreation Community Center, 1996 Recreation Way, off Wyncrest Road.

Free activities include a family picture with Santa or with a snowman, two different holiday movies at 12:30 and 2:30 p.m., musical entertainment, and carnival games and balloons for all. There will also be chocolate house decorating.

Reservations and a $16 per house fee are required. Door prizes will be given away starting at 3:45 p.m. Refreshments will be available to purchase, with proceeds going to Chai Hands, an organization to help send children with illnesses to a special summer camp.
