Freehold Township earns honors in contest
For the second consecutive year, Freehold Township has earned honors as the Best Municipal Web Site in the Municipal Public Information Contest sponsored by Rutgers University’s Center for Government Services. This is the 43rd year for the contest.
“The importance of a municipality communicating with its residents cannot be overstated,” said Henry A. Coleman, director of the Center for Government Services.
“This contest helps to spread the word about innovative and effective communications techniques that have been developed by municipalities around the state.”
The state League of Municipalities and the Municipal Management Association of New Jersey co-sponsor the contest with CGS, a unit of the Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy at Rutgers University.
