Students to stage ‘The Dining Room’
Set in the dining room of a wealthy household, the play presents a mosaic of inter-related scenes that create an in-depth portrait of a vanishing species — the upper middle class “WASP.” The vignettes, depicting former owners and guests, take place between the 1930s and the present time and illustrate the impact of changing morals and manners during the 20th century. The play is directed by drama adviser Joseph Reilly.
