Grandson to give talk on Rabbi Aryeh Levene

“Reflections of the Tzaddik of Jerusalem, My Grandfather, Reb. Aryeh Levene” will be presented by Rabbi Benji Levene, grandson of the man known as “The Rabbi of the Prisoners” for his role in Israel’s quest for independence.

Levene will present an evening of storytelling about his grandfather, whose life is studied in centers of Jewish learning throughout the world.

The presentation will be held Oct. 17 at 7 p.m. at Congregation Sons of Israel, Manalapan. There is no charge.
