     I feel compelled to respond to a recent letter in your paper, penned by David Sorin of Marlboro. While I found much of his opinion contentious, that which most disturbed me was his manipulation of the Freehold Regional High School District tax contribution numbers.

     I have to respond to your recent article about closing Marlboro Airport. I was born into a household in the Morgan-ville section of Marlboro in 1966. I attended the Morganville school in the early 1970s, which is directly under the flight path of the planes at the then Prestons’ airport.

Student happy with choice to attend Freehold Borough
     I am a Marlboro resident who attends the Medical Sciences Learning Center hosted at Freehold Borough High School. As I have lived in Marlboro all my life, I think it is safe to say that I know the similarities and differences of these two areas well.
