Edward W. Berkoben He was born in Jersey City, NJ and was a life long resident of Howell, NJ. Mr. Berkoben was a farmer his whole life working on the family farm known as Oak Tree Farm in Howell, NJ. He was a United States Navy Veteran serving during World War II. He is predeceased by 3 Sisters: Anna L. Berkoben, Minnie K. Rowland, and Martha E. Whalen, also by 1 brother, John F. Berkoben. He is survived by 2 nephews: William Whalen of Farmingdale, NJ, Dr. John Berkoben of Arlington, Massachusetts, 1 Niece, Ruth Bennett of Freehold Twp., NJ and many Grand and Great Grand nieces and nephews. Service Information: Visiting at Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Rd. (Route 524), Freehold Township on Wednesday, January 14, 2009 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM with his Funeral Service to follow at 12:00 PM.
