Dorothy "Mimi" H. Husk, 83, of Freehold, died Aug. 4, , 2008. Mrs. Husk was born in Ambler, Pa., and had lived in Schwenksville, Pa., before moving to The Villages, Freehold, in 1990. She worked in the advertising department for The Village News Letter for 15 years. Prior to that Mrs. Husk was a secretary for 22 years with the State of Pennsylvania, building division, in the general services department, retiring in 1989. She is survived by her daughter: Tanya L. Van Vechten of Freehold, N.J.; a grandson, Derrick L. Van Vechten of Red Bank, N.J.; a brother and sister-in-law, Edwin H. and Pat Holt of Sellersville, Pa.; a nephew and three nieces. Visitation will be held at Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Twp., N.J. on Thursday, Aug. 7, 2008, from 7 to 9 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her graveside service on Friday, Aug. 8 at 11:30 a.m. at Beulah Cemetery, New Britain, Pa.
