Exchange Club presents Youth of the Year awards

The Exchange Club of Western Monmouth announced this year’s recipients of the club’s annual Youth of the Year award.

Emma Fawcett, Howell, an honor roll senior at Freehold Township High School, intends to spend the year after graduation traveling to South America with a volunteer organization, working in developing countries She will then attend New York University majoring in international relations.

Bart Rosenthal, Marlboro, a National Honor Society senior at Marlboro High School, will attend New York University. He is a member of the YMCA swim team, Marlboro High School swim team and Athletes for a Better Community; is a recipient of the Shield & Key award; and volunteers at Sunrise Assisted Living facility.

Both recipients will receive a $500 scholarship.
