Valentine craft class for
Manalapan youngsters

Manalapan Parks and Recreation is accepting registrations for the valentine craft program being held Feb. 8. The program is open to resident children ages 4-7. The class will be held at the Recreation Center’s Kuschick Pavilion, Route 522. Registrants may sign up for either the 10 a.m. or 11 a.m. class; a noon class will be added if registration warrants. Scholarship offered

for community service

Monmouth County DOVIA (Directors of Volunteers in Agencies) will award a $750 scholarship to a high school senior from Monmouth County who has demonstrated a commitment to community service. Application forms may be obtained by contacting students’ high school guidance officers or Mary Thornton at (732) 531-5511.
