Colts Neck church seeks
shoe boxes for project

The Colts Neck Baptist Church is again collecting shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child. These boxes are filled with new, unused items, including toys, school supplies, personal items, flashlights, extra batteries, and other items for children affected by war, poverty, disease and disaster. Items that are war-related (such as toys of weapons, army figures, tanks, etc.) will not be used.

There are three categories for boys and girls: ages 2-4, 5-9 and 10-14. Wrapping the box is optional, but the box top and box bottom should be wrapped separately. Shoe boxes may be dropped off at the church, 25 Merchants Way, Colts Neck, Nov. 17-23. For more information, call Joy at (732) 363-4195, or the church office at (732) 462-2779.
